Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary is one of Norfolk's leading seal sanctuaries, a state of the art marine aquarium taking visitors on a memorable undersea odyssey filled with amazing close encounters with sea creatures of astonishing variety.Highlights include an incredible otter enclosure, penguins and a whole host of other incredible marine creatures. Don't miss our seal hospital where visitors can see our "new arrivals", juveniles in the nursery ward, and the animal care team at work.Get up close to our charming colony of Humboldt Penguins at the all NEW Penguin Beach! Learn how to waddle with the colony and discover the penguin trail. Watch them glide underwater and slide into their new deep-dive pool as you come face-to-flipper with these amazing birds.The Wash and surrounding areas along the Norfolk coast is home to two species of seal, Common Seals and Grey Seals. The population of Common Seals here alone has the greatest density than anywhere else in the country. Since opening our Seal Hospital in 1989 we have helped rescue and rehabilitate more than 750 seals.
