The Norfolk Coast

Big skies, salt marshes and long beaches set the tone along this wonderfully varied coastline. It’s a place for coastal paths, sea air and days built around nature, from birdlife in reedbeds to winter geese and shifting flocks at dusk. The beaches are made for wandering, whether you’re following the tide, hunting for fossils, watching the light change or simply lingering with a flask. Boat trips and shoreline walks offer the chance to see seals, while villages and market towns bring character, good food and small discoveries between outdoor hours. There’s heritage here too, with grand houses, gardens and old streets that invite slower exploration. If you’re after a Norfolk break that feels open and elemental, the coast delivers it in every season, with space to do it your way.
