Horsey Gap lies between Sea Palling and Winterton-on-Sea on the Norfolk Coast. The beach is wide and sandy, backed by dunes.
The area is known for its grey seal colony, particularly during the winter pupping season. At low tide, extensive sand stretches along the shoreline.
