About The Cloister of Norwich Cathedral

Join us on a summer's morning for a tour of the largest monastic cloister in England.

Learn about the important part it played in the design of Norwich Cathedral itself and find out about the riot which led to the building we have today.

Discover how the monks worked, prayed and played in the Cloister and explore some of its unique features. We'll uncover green men, demons and pilgrim badges, as we make our way around the Cloister walks.

This tour starts at 11.15am on Wednesday 5 August.

Tickets cost £7 per person plus a small booking fee.

Please be aware, our special guided tours always sell out quickly so make sure you book a ticket as soon as you can.

Please note that tickets for specialist tours are non-refundable.

Arriving for the tour

Just ask a member of the welcome and donations team when you arrive at the Hostry entrance to the Cathedral, and they will direct you to the starting point for the tour.
