About Teddy Bears' Picnic Day
Families and their favourite teddy bears are invited to join in with a free day of fun at Norwich Cathedral as part of the Norwich City of Stories Summer Trail.
Bring your teddy, a picnic, and enjoy exploring Norwich Cathedral!
The Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day will take place on Wednesday 12 August from 10am until 3pm and will feature storytime sessions, children’s activities, and the chance to enjoy a picnic in the Cathedral Close with your bear.
Families can also stop by and say hello to our resident marmalade-loving friend Paddington!
Activity highlights for children and their bears include:
Storytime sessions at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 1pm and 2pm
Stained glass crafts
Music-making
Arch-building
Exploring the Cathedral’s ancient architecture with binoculars
Outdoor games in the Cloister
Designing Norwich Cathedral postcards
The Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day is free to attend.
No booking needed – just turn up on the day and enjoy!
