Eric Clapton – Sunday 23 August 2026

Music legend Eric Clapton is the first act to be announced for the concerts that will take place on the Estate in the summer of 2026.

Clapton is universally recognised as one of the most important musicians of our time and continues to attract audiences all over the world to his sold-out shows.

Since emerging in the 1960s in bands such as The Yardbirds, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, Cream, and Derek and the Dominos, he has been widely regarded as one of the most influential guitarists, and musicians, of all-time.

His solo career is marked by timeless hits including ‘Layla’, ‘Wonderful Tonight’, and ‘Tears in Heaven’, earning him an incredible 18 GRAMMY Awards. Uniquely, he is the only musician in history to be inducted into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame a record three times!

Having sold over 100 million records worldwide, Eric Clapton released his most recent of 22 studio albums last year, ‘Meanwhile’, which features collaborations with artists such as Van Morrison and the late Jeff Beck.

In recent years, Clapton has continued to tour worldwide, including tours across Europe, South America, Mexico, the US; and continued performances at his home away from home, the London Royal Albert Hall, a venue where he has performed more times than any other artist.

Gates for the 2026 events at the Estate will open at 2pm, so that audiences can come and spend a full afternoon and evening savouring the food and drink on offer from the wide variety of bars and artisan food traders, in a picturesque setting that offers a stunning backdrop for a full bill of live music.

Andy Fairweather Low came to prominence as the lead singer in Amen Corner in the 1960s, a group who clocked up hit after pop hit with songs such as ‘Bend Me Shape Me’, ‘Hello Suzy’, and ‘(If Paradise Is) Half as Nice’. Andy’s solo path has seen 10 albums released, with 2025’s ‘The Invisible Bluesman’ going straight to No.1 in the Official UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart.

Will Wilde is a phenomenal harmonica player and vocalist. Will won the HRH ‘Lords Of Blues’ award in 2025 and was nominated “Instrumentalist of the Year” and “Contemporary Blues Artist of the Year” in the UK Blues Awards. His latest album ‘Blues Is Still Alive’ reached number one on the IBBA (Independent Blues Broadcasters Association) Chart and number five on the UK’s Official Jazz & Blues Album Chart.
