Join us for a full-day, hands-on workshop where you’ll dive into the delightful world of cheese-making, right here at Fielding Cottage — home to our famous goat’s cheese since 2009.

Cheese Science 101: We’ll guide you through the fascinating science behind cheese-making.
Dairy Tour: Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our state-of-the-art dairy.
Hands-On Experience: Roll up your sleeves and craft your very own cheese under the expert guidance of our team.
Grazing Board Lunch: Enjoy a laid-back lunch in the Goat Shed Kitchen with a grazing board full of homemade favourites, local produce and seasonal deli treats.
Takeaways: Leave with your handmade cheese, a certificate, and a booklet covering everything you’ve learned.

Good to know:

Age Requirement: Suitable for ages 17 and up.
Accessibility: The day involves a fair bit of standing. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us in advance — we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Hygiene: Our dairy is a high-risk area, so strict hygiene procedures are in place. Compliance is a must for everyone’s safety.
Group Size: Courses require a minimum of six participants. If we don’t reach this number, we’ll offer an alternative date or a voucher for future use.

Cheese-making Gift Voucher

Cancellations made up to 14 days before date of selected cheese course, will be offered a course on an alternative date. If there are no immediate suitable future dates, we can provide a voucher to be redeemed for a future course.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date of the course are non-refundable and non-transferable. However you may send someone in your place.

Please note that Cheese-making course gift vouchers are non-refundable.

Terms & conditions:

This event is aimed at our grown up visitors (18 and over).

This is a ticketed event, we will not be able to take walk-ins on the day.

Tickets are non-refundable, non-negotiable and non-transferable.

Each ticket includes lunch and refreshments.

This event will only go ahead if we hit minimum numbers. We will get in contact and reschedule or refund all tickets purchased if we are unable to proceed with the event due to capacity.

This workshop will take approximately 5/6 hours to complete, please respect our neighbours when leaving the premises.
