About Sculthorpe Moor

Located in the Wensum Valley in North Norfolk, the Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve welcomes you to our 200-acre site with 7 hides across a range of managed landscapes including meadow, wood, fen and wetland habitats. This popular reserve is fully accessible via its well-kept boardwalks and accessible hides. It is a haven for many beautiful, rare and interesting species and the perfect place for a spot of bird watching or a peaceful walk. Birds and other wildlife can be seen from the hide, the pond shimmers with the metallic colours of dragonfly wings in the summer, a quiet visitor may catch a glimpse of a water vole swimming along the drainage ditches and majestic marsh harriers can be seen soaring over the reed bed. A programme of guided walks, activity sessions and courses provides the opportunity for visitors to learn more about the reserve and its wildlife.
