Museum of the Broads

The Museum of the Broads is the only museum dedicated entirely to bringing the stories of the Broads alive. Discover how people have lived, worked, and navigated these iconic waterways through engaging exhibitions, historic boats, and hands-on displays. Learn about the region’s unique marshland landscape, traditional boatbuilding, local wildlife, and famous Broads figures.

To complete your visit, take a scenic river trip on one of the museum's two heritage vessels:

Marsh Harrier – A peaceful, quiet, Edwardian-style electric launch fully accessible with a wheelchair lift and ramp and dog friendly.

Falcon – A unique, restored Victorian steamboat offering an authentic historic cruising experience

The museum is fully accessible, dog-friendly, and features a café, and gift shop. Museum entry is free for children under 12, and adult museum admission includes unlimited return visits for 12 months (boat trips incur a separate charge).
