Hillside Animal Sanctuary

Hillside Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1995 to help and campaign for animals in need' and most importantly, to bring public awareness to the millions of animals suffering every day in the intensive factory farming industry. Although at Hillside we have given sanctuary to 2500 horses, ponies and donkeys, many of our residents have been rescued from thefarming industry.Children's play and activity area, rescued animals, shire horses, gift shop, cafe, farming Bygones Museum, demonstrations on some days

Lots of animals to see including Heavy Horses, ponies and donkeys, sheep and pigs, rabbits, ducks, goats and many more rescued animals. Museum with extensive collection of carts, wagons and farm machinery. Children play area, gift shop and cafe serving animal friendly refreshments.
