At Hay's Wood Retreat we are blessed to be surrounded by beautiful woodland walks, allowing our guests to feel grounded and immerse themselves in the refreshing embrace of the outdoors. Our walks run alongside our majestic resident Highland cows who always appreciate a 'hello' whilst grazing peacefully in their fields and separated woodlands.

Are you a nature enthusiast? Here you will be captivated by the diverse wildlife that calls Hay's Wood Retreat home. Engage in bird spotting adventures, celebrating all of our feathered friends who grace our skies, with regular visits from Red Kites, Egyptian Geese and most recently even the rarer sighted Oyster Catchers. We also have two species of deer, alongside a large array of other wildlife that call Hay's Wood Retreat home.

Our events centre is home to our coffee lounge, large rustic event spaces and on-site boutique gym. No matter whether you are staying with us as part of an event, intimate getaway or as a family holiday, our coffee lounge and boutique gym are available for all of our guests to use (opening times and age restrictions apply)
