Behold a remarkable array of colossal stationary steam engines in action, as you discover the art of steam power firsthand.Located in the picturesque Tas Valley of South Norfolk, our grassroots museum, now a charitable trust, is a testament to our passion for preserving history and helping future generations learn about the power of steam.Experience the thrill of these huge dinosaurs of the steam age including: 85 ton 600HP Tridle Expansion Engine. 2 huge beam engines from the 1890s. 1873 Corliss engine from a Nottingham Lace Factory. 200HP Single Tandem Compound mill engine and our most famous engine the 147HP Cross Compound Engine which was used to open Tower Bridge until 1974.
