Play, run, walk or cycle your way round High Lodge, Thetford Forest
High Lodge is a safe space in nature for every generation to escape and be free. Providing opportunities for adventure and exploration with a range of exciting activities around every corner.
With play areas dotted around the forest, beautiful walking trails winding through the trees and waymarked cycling trails for all.
Open all year, High Lodge is home to the Gruffalo, seasonal activities and events.
High Lodge, Thetford Forest and the Information Point are open:
9am-4pm 1 January to 13 February 2026
9am-5pm 14 February to 29 March 2026
9am-6pm 30 March to 6 September 2026
9am-5pm 7 September to 25 October 2026
9am-4pm 26 October 2026 to 13 February 2027
High Lodge Cafe is open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm on weekends
We are open every day except for Christmas Day. Please check our website and social media for any updates which may affect your visit before setting off.
