Farthing Green Holiday Apartments - Skylight Apartment

Farthing Green House is a large listed building in Loddon, a Norfolk village with easy access to the Norfolk Broads, the coast and the historic city of Norwich.

Farthing Green House has its own car park to the rear of the property with ample parking available. A short walk through the garden (which you are welcome to enjoy) brings you to the rear courtyard.

From there, access to the Skylight Apartment is via an external staircase to the first floor entrance hall with a further internal staircase to the second floor Skylight Apartment.

The Skylight Apartment occupies the whole top floor of the main Georgian part of the building and many original features have been retained. Be warned that this means the bedrooms have low beams and low doorways so taller people need to be careful!

There are three bedrooms (two spacious double rooms and the oldest bedroom in the building for one lucky person). As the name suggests, the apartment is filled with natural light from five skylights - which is particularly noticeable in the large dining/living room. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher) and there is room to chat while preparing a favourite dish. There is also a washer/dryer for laundry.

There is also a study if you need to hide away to catch up on emails or attend an important video call.

The owners live in the West Wing and are on site to ensure that you have everything you need for a relaxing time.

The Skylight Apartment provides a great self-catering base from which to explore the surrounds by foot, bicycle, motorcycle, car, public transport and river craft. There are shops, pubs (most with food), cafes and takeaways within easy walking distance.

If you want to relax, there is large garden in which to enjoy the sunshine with outdoor seating areas and, if you wish, a BBQ. There is also an on-site gym (with a personal trainer by prior arrangement) and a common room (complete with classic computer games).

Please note that if staying in the Skylight Apartment, we shall endeavour to ensure that the Directors Suite (on the floor below) is not occupied (unless, of course, you are booking both apartments!).
