Fun for all the family this Easter
National Trust properties in Norfolk are offering Easter trails to choose from, featuring activities inspired by nature, beauty and history. From identifying spring flowers and wildlife to uncovering intriguing histories and local legends, every single Easter trail is jam-packed with outdoor activities and experiences.
Every trail ends with a chocolate egg, or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg, made here in the UK using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.
National Trust Easter egg trails cost £3.50 per child, plus normal National Trust admission/free admission for National Trust members/guests of National Trust holidays.
Plus, a special National Trust membership offer (live from 21 March) will give new members the opportunity to enjoy the Easter trails for FREE.
Between Saturday 21 March-Sunday 19 April 2026 (inclusive), any new Family, Junior, Young Persons, Individual or Joint membership purchased at a National Trust property or online and paid for with annual Direct Debit, can receive a free Easter trails voucher. This voucher entitles all children under 18, to free ‘Easter adventures’ trails an unlimited number of times at participating National Trust properties.

Blickling Estate
Easter tea party adventure, Saturday 21 March until Monday 13 April
Multi-use trail around the wider Estate for family bike rides and walks
Bring the family together this Easter and treat loved ones to an egg-stra special tea party adventure at Blickling Estate. The animals at Blickling are getting ready for a spring tea party, and everyone is invited! Head into the daffodil-filled gardens, complete games and challenges and help the animals get ready for their special day. Find hidden teacups in the orchard, hook a duck and spin the wheel to see which creature you are, then zoom around the course moving like this animal.
After helping the animals with their tea party, head to the Stables or Muddy Boots cafés for refreshments including hot and cold drinks, light meals, snacks and cakes.
The Easter trail takes place daily 10am to 4pm from Saturday 21 March until Sunday 29 March and 10am to 5pm from Monday 30 March until Monday 13 April, with last trails starting one hour before closing. Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. Whilst stocks last. As the trail takes place in the garden, standard admission charges also apply, with free entry for National Trust members and children under 5 years old. Assistance dogs only.

Regency Romance exhibition
It’s hard not to fall in love with Oxburgh, when you catch your first glimpse of the imposing brick manor house reflected in the tranquil moat. This spring the whole family can enjoy a seasonal adventure with the creative Easter trail.
Follow the Oxburgh chickens and eggs, following the Easter trail path, take turns at creating, playing and so much more. The trail takes place between Saturday 28 March and Monday 13 April 2026, from 10am to 4:30pm (Last trail sold at 3:30pm), so come along and explore the beautiful gardens at Oxburgh.
As well as Easter in full swing outdoors, inside the hall the new exhibition 'A Regency Romance' is up and running too. The exhibition follows Agnes and Thomas Molyneux Seel from their courtship through to their yearlong 'grand tour' honeymoon in Europe. Learn how to waltz, follow their journey on an animated map, masquerade at a make-believe masked ball and learn about the conservation of the two paintings that provided the inspiration for the exhibition.
The tearoom will be open throughout serving a whole host of hot drinks, tasty snacks, lunches and of course scones. And the Courtyard Gift Shop will be open. Please check opening times on the website before planning your visit.

Felbrigg, Hall Gardens and Estate

Free to visit 520-acre estate
Explore the estate and woodland on a trail with 10 nature-themed activity stations, including seed planting, den building and lawn games.
Admission is £3.50 per Easter trail pack, includes a trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg, or a vegan ‘Free-From’ chocolate egg, both made using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Car parking is free for National Trust members and £5 for non-members.
Under 5s can also visit the hall and Walled Garden for free. A home for more than 400 years, Felbrigg Hall has one of the largest collections in the National Trust. Outside, the decorative and productive Walled Garden is a gardener's delight, including metalwork creatures and sculptures, from tiny hidden dormice to giant mushrooms.

Easter adventure trail, 28 Mar–12 April
The Easter trail leads you through the enchanting woodland and wild garden, with several of the activities featuring hand-crafted wood from the park. Have a go at throwing hoops over Easter bunnies carved from tree stumps, pose for a picture with a pair of giant butterfly wings, and put nostrils to the test to see if you can guess all the smells at the sensory station.
Get energetic with wheelbarrow racing, squeeze under the limbo pole, and put throwing skills to the test by knocking over tin cans – play for fun or get competitive with your companions!
Extend the adventure by continuing a little further along the path to be rewarded with some eggs-tra-ordinary views of the coast. The Easter trail is all in dog-friendly areas of the park.

Explore the beautiful orchard and wildlife garden at Horsey Windpump on the Easter trail with activities for the whole family.
Get active with wheelbarrow racing, test your aim by throwing pinecones into the cornholes, put skills to the test, and meet some of the amazing wildlife that can be found on the Norfolk Broads. Weave in and out of willow poles, guess the animal from cut-out shapes in mystery boxes, and plant a runner bean that you can take home and watch it grow.
Why not round off your visit by climbing the 61 steps to the top of the 114-year-old drainage mill? Last entry: 15 minutes before the listed closing time. Balcony open Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays (weather-permitting). Admission charges apply for entry to the windpump.
